PASSENGER LIMITATIONS FOR YOUNG
DRIVERS - PROSPECTIVE APPLICATION
2001 FIRST SPECIAL SESSION

This act modifies the effective date of passenger limitations for young drivers enacted in
S.B. 48 during the 2001 General Session. The passenger limitations apply only to a person
whose driver license is issued on or after July 1, 2001.

Uncodified Section 2, Chapter 98, Laws of Utah 2001
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
Section 1. Uncodified Section 2, Chapter 98, Laws of Utah 2001 is amended to read:
Section 2. Effective date -- Prospective application.
(1) This act takes effect on July 1, 2001.
(2) This act applies only to a person whose driver license is issued on or after July 1, 2001.
