PASSENGER LIMITATIONS FOR YOUNG
2 DRIVERS - PROSPECTIVE APPLICATION
3 2001 FIRST SPECIAL SESSION

6 This act modifies the effective date of passenger limitations for young drivers enacted in
7 S.B. 48 during the 2001 General Session. The passenger limitations apply only to a person
8 whose driver license is issued on or after July 1, 2001.
9 This act affects uncodified material as follows:
10 AMENDS:
11 Uncodified Section 2, Chapter 98, Laws of Utah 2001
12 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
13 Section 1. Uncodified Section 2, Chapter 98, Laws of Utah 2001 is amended to read:
14 Section 2. Effective date -- Prospective application.
15 (1) This act takes effect on July 1, 2001.
16 (2) This act applies only to a person whose driver license is issued on or after July 1, 2001.
