2003 FIRST SPECIAL SESSION of the 55th Legislature
May 21 - June 18, 2003

The First Special Session of the Fifty-Fifth Legislature convened on May 21, 2003 for the following purposes:

1. to consider amendments to Utah Code Title 63B, Chapter 1a, Master General Obligation Bond Act;

2. and to consider such other measures as may be brought to the attention of the Legislature by supplemental communication from the Governor before or during the Special Session hereby called.

The Legislature adjourned on May 21, 2003, after passing HB 1001, Amendments to Master Bond Act.

The Legislature reconvened on June 18, 2003 to address the transfer of funds to cover a shortfall in the Uniform School Fund and adjourned sine die without considering legislation.

Every person who fraudulently alters the draft of any bill or resolution with intent to procure its being passed or adopted by the Legislature in language different from that intended is guilty of a felony of the third degree. (UCA 76-8-107, 108)
