9 This bill appropriates money for the K-3 Reading Improvement Program.

23 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
24 Section 1. Ongoing appropriation for K-3 Reading Improvement Program.
25 As an ongoing appropriation subject to future budget constraints, there is appropriated
26 for fiscal year 2007-08, $2,500,000 from the Uniform School Fund to the State Board of
27 Education for the K-3 Reading Improvement Program created in Section 53A-17a-150 .
28 Section 2. Effective date.
29 This bill takes effect on July 1, 2007.
