27 General Description:
28 This bill appropriates $2,000,000 each to the LeRay McAllister Critical Land
29 Conservation Fund, the Rangeland Improvement Fund, and the Department of Natural
30 Resources to fund land and water projects.
31 Highlighted Provisions:

32 This bill:
33 . appropriates $2,000,000 to the Department of Natural Resources for watershed
34 rehabilitation;
35 . appropriates $2,000,000 to fund the LeRay McAllister Critical Land Conservation
36 Fund; and
37 . appropriates $2,000,000 to fund the Rangeland Improvement Fund.

50 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
51 Section 1. Appropriation.
52 (1) As an ongoing appropriation subject to future budget constraints, there is
53 appropriated from the General Fund for fiscal year 2007-08:
54 (a) $2,000,000 to the Department of Natural Resources for watershed rehabilitation or
55 restoration; and
56 (b) $2,000,000 to the Rangeland Improvement Fund created in Section 4-20-2 .
57 (2) There is appropriated $2,000,000 from the General Fund, for fiscal year 2007-08
58 only, to the LeRay McAllister Critical Land Conservation Fund created in Section 11-38-301 .
59 Section 2. Effective date.
60 This bill takes effect on July 1, 2007.
