    The Revenue and Taxation Committee recommends H.B. 36, INCOME TAX ADDITIONS AND SUBTRACTIONS FOR HIGHER EDUCATION SAVINGS, by Representative F. Hunsaker, be replaced and reports a favorable recommendation on 1st Sub. H.B. 36, INCOME TAX ADDITIONS AND SUBTRACTIONS FOR HIGHER EDUCATION SAVINGS with the following amendments:

1.    Page 23, Lines 681 through 682 :    

             681          (ii) the resident or nonresident individual described in Section (2)(i)(i) does not deduct
             682      on a federal individual income

  tax       return; and
