    The Revenue and Taxation Committee reports a favorable recommendation on H.B. 37, CIGARETTE AND TOBACCO TAX AND LICENSING AMENDMENTS, by Representative C. Frank, with the following amendments:

1.    Page 6, Lines 167 through 168 :    

             167          (5) A consumer shall maintain records necessary to determine the amount of tax the
             168      consumer is liable to pay under this part for a period of three years following the

{   purchase   }        date the return required by this part was filed       .



2.    Page 7, Lines 203 through 204 :    

             203          (c) A consumer shall maintain records necessary to determine the amount of tax the
             204      consumer is liable to pay under this part for a period of three years following the
{   purchase   }        date the return required by this part was filed       .
