    The Business and Labor Committee reports a favorable recommendation on H.B. 80, HEALTH INSURANCE AMENDMENTS, by Representative J. Dunnigan, with the following amendments:


1.    Page 8, Lines 217 through 218 :    

             217          (1) (a) Except as provided in

{   Subsections   }        Subsection       (1)(b)      {   and (2)   } , an individual who is not

             218      HIPAA eligible is eligible for pool coverage if the individual:


2.    Page 9, Lines 250 through 251 :    

             250          (2) (a) Except as provided in
{   Subsections   }        Subsection            {   (1) and   } (2)(b), an individual who is HIPAA

             251      eligible is eligible for pool coverage if the individual:


3.    Page 9, Lines 254 through 255 :    

             254          (b) Notwithstanding
{   Subsections   }        Subsection            {   (1) and   } (2)(a), a HIPAA eligible individual is not

             255      eligible for pool coverage if one or more of the following conditions apply:




4.    Page 12, Lines 348 through 350 :    

             348          (10) Covered benefits available from the pool may not exceed a [$1,000,000]

{   $2,000,000   }        $1,500,000       lifetime maximum, which includes a per enrollee calendar year maximum

             350      established by the board.
