The Education Committee recommends H.B. 118, RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS FOR
IN-STATE TUITION, by Representative J. Draxler, be replaced and reports a favorable recommendation
on 1st Sub. H.B. 118, RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS FOR IN-STATE TUITION with the following
amendments:

(20) A student shall be exempt from paying the nonresident portion of total

(b) graduated from a high school in this state or received the equivalent of a
high school diploma in this state.
