Mr. Speaker:

    The Government Operations Committee reports a favorable recommendation on H.B. 214, SENIOR PERMITS FOR STATE PARKS, by Representative S. Allen, with the following amendments:

1.    Page 1, Line 9 :    

             9          This bill allows senior citizens to enter state parks

{   without charge   }        for a one-time fee       .


2.    Page 3, Lines 72 through 75 :    

             72          (11) (a) The division shall establish procedures for issuing a nontransferable
  life-time       permit

             73     
{   without charge   }        for a one-time fee       to citizens of the state who are at least 66 years old.

             74          (b) The permit entitles the permittee, and any person accompanying the permittee in a
             75      single, private, noncommercial vehicle, to general admission without charge to any state park.
