Mr. Speaker:

    The Education Committee reports a favorable recommendation on H.B. 240, PUBLIC EDUCATION JOB ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM AMENDMENTS, by Representative R. Menlove, with the following amendments:

1.    Page 1, Lines 13 through 14 :

{   allows elementary teachers in grades four through six to qualify for cash awards and

             14      scholarships to obtain mathematics endorsements.
