    The Health and Human Services Committee recommends H.B. 242, MEDICAID FALSE CLAIMS ACT AMENDMENTS, by Representative B. Last, be replaced and reports a favorable recommendation on 1st Sub. H.B. 242, MEDICAID FALSE CLAIMS ACT AMENDMENTS with the following amendments:

1.    Page 7, Lines 182 through 183 :    

             182          (a) [in all cases, shall be required to] make full and complete restitution to the state of
             183      all

{   medical benefits improperly obtained   }        damages that the state sustains because of the person's violation of this chapter       ;
