Mr. President:

    The Government Operations and Political Subdivisions Committee reports a favorable recommendation on S.B. 231, VETERANS AMENDMENTS, by Senator F. Fife, with the following amendments:

1.    Page 1, Lines 20 through 21 :    

             20      Other Special Clauses:

{   None   }        This bill coordinates with H.B. 426, Change to the Department of Veterans' Affairs, by providing a technical change.      


2.    Page 2, Line 35 :    

             35      services.
 

Section 2. Coordinating S.B. 231 with H.B. 426 -- Technical change.
If this S.B. 231 and H.B. 426, Change to the Department of Veterans' Affairs both pass, it is the intent of the Legislature that the funding appropriated to the Division of Veterans' Affairs in this bill be appropriated to the Department of Veterans' Affairs.
