    The Business and Labor Committee reports a favorable recommendation on S.B. 236, TRADEMARK PROTECTION ACT, by Senator D. Eastman, with the following amendments:

1.    Page 12, Line 338 :    

             338          (2)

  (a)       The division may contract with a person to maintain and operate the database.

    
  (b) If the division contracts with a person to maintain and operate the database, the person with whom the division contracts is responsible for all costs of creating the database and readying it for use.
