Rep. Mathis called the meeting to order at 8:19 a.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Hansen moved to approve the minutes of the January 30, 2007 meeting.
        The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Bowman, Rep. Hutchings absent for the vote.

H.B. 303    Campaign Finance Filing Requirements (Rep. G. Hughes)

MOTION:    Rep. Donnelson move to amend the bill as follows:

1.    Page 3, Lines 67 through :                  68          (c) make and enter orders and judgments, and issue the process of the court to enforce
             68      all of those orders and judgments.
 

(3)    The lieutenant governor's failure to send timely notice under Section 20A-11- 103 may not be used as a defense for a person's failure to strictly comply with the filing deadlines for financial disclosure reports under the provisions referenced in Subsection (2)(b)(i).  


The motion to amend the bill passed unanimously.

H.B. 334    Eminent Domain (Rep. A. Tilton)

Rep. Tilton explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Hansen moved to amend the bill as follows:
