Rep. Barrus called the meeting to order at 2:07 p.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Noel moved to approve the minutes of the January 31, 2007 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Andersen, Rep. Painter, and Rep. Wheeler absent for the vote.

S.B. 47    Department of Agriculture Amendments (Sen. M. Dayton) (Rep. P. Painter)

Sen. Dayton explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Draxler moved to amend the bill as follows:

MOTION:    Rep. Painter moved to amend the bill as follows:
