Rep. Mascaro called the meeting to order at 2:05 p.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Morgan moved to approve the minutes of the February 5, 2007 meeting. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Daw, Rep. Draxler, Rep. Julie Fisher, and Rep. Herrod absent for the vote.

H.B. 23    Employment Security Act Amendments (Rep. S. Mascaro)

Rep. Mascaro introduced the bill to the committee. (handout)

MOTION:    Rep. King moved too pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Daw absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Mascaro moved that H.B. 23 be placed on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Daw absent for the vote.

Rep. Mascaro relinquished the chair to Rep. Julie Fisher.

H.B. 225    Morbid Obesity - Insurance Coverage (Rep. S. Mascaro)

Rep. Mascaro introduced the bill to the committee.
