Committee Chair Walker called the meeting to order at 4:11 p.m.
Approval of Minutes
MOTION: Sen. VanTassell moved to approve the minutes of February 16, 2007.
The motion passed unanimously with Sens. Jenkins and Mayne absent for the vote.
1. H.B. 115 Honoring Heroes Special Group License Plate (P. Ray)
Rep. Ray explained the bill.
MOTION: Sen. VanTassell moved to pass the bill out favorably.
The motion passed unanimously with Sens. Jenkins and Mayne absent for the vote.
MOTION: Sen. VanTassell moved to place the bill on the Consent Calendar
The motion passed unanimously with Sens. Jenkins and Mayne absent for the vote.
2. H.B. 354 Bus Passenger Safety Act Amendments (M. Walker)
Rep. Walker explained the bill.
Clark Aposhian, Chairman, Utah Shooting Sports Council, spoke in support of the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Dmitrich moved to pass the bill out favorably.
The motion passed unanimously.
MOTION: Sen. Dmitrich moved to place the bill on the Consent Calendar.
The motion passed unanimously.
