Chair Madsen called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m.

1. S.B. 19 Workforce Services - Reporting Misuse of Personal Identifying Information

Sen. Carlene M. Walker presented the bill. Tani Downing, Executive Director, Department of Workforce Services explained the need for the bill and spoke in support. Richard Hamp, Assistant State Attorney General, and Kelly H. Bennett, Midvale City Council, spoke in support.

Sen. Walker proposed an amendment to the bill.

MOTION: Sen. Killpack moved to amend S.B. 19, Workforce Services - Reporting Misuse of Personal Identifying Information, with the following amendments:
    
    Page 1, Line 25:            Delete "and" and insert "or" and delete "18" and
                    insert "16"

    Page 2, Line 47:            Delete "and" and insert "or"

    
Page 2, Line 48:            Delete "18" and insert "16"




The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION: Sen. Killpack moved to pass S.B. 15, Workforce Services - Reporting Misuse of Personal Identifying Information, out with a favorable recommendation as amended.

The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION: Sen. Killpack moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously.

Chair Madsen adjourned the meeting at 9:55 a.m.
