Senator Allen M. Christensen proposes the following amendments:

                as an ongoing appropriation subject to future budget constraints, a negative $653,900 from the General Fund and a positive $653,900 from dedicated credits for fiscal year 2007-08 to the Bureau of Criminal Identification.

  Appropriation.


    (1) As an ongoing appropriation subject to future budget constraints, there is appropriated from the General Fund for the fiscal year 2007-08, a negative $653,900 and from dedicated credits for the fiscal year 2007-08, a positive $653,900 to the Bureau of Criminal Identification within the Criminal Investigations and Technical Services Division of the Department of Public Safety to cover the cost of the bureau's issuing concealed firearm permits.

    (2) The appropriations in Subsection (1) are in addition to amounts previously appropriated to the bureau for the fiscal year 2007-08.
