(a)
A student's parent, at

the end of a quarter, term, trimester, semester,

, may remove the student from a private school and

place the student in another eligible private school and retain the scholarship
, but the scholarship shall be
prorated between the eligible private schools
.
(b) If the student's parent chooses to remove the student from a private school and place the student
in a public school, the scholarship is retained, but shall be prorated between the private school and the
public school.
