Senator Margaret Dayton proposes the following amendments:

    House Committee Amendments
    2-12-2007 :
    

             37          26-7-3. Cervical cancer public awareness campaign.
             38          
  (1)       The department shall create a public awareness campaign to educate parents, health

             39      care providers, and women H. [between the ages of 19 and 26] .H about the causes
             39a      and risk factors
             40      associated with cervical cancer and the prevention of cervical cancer.
 

    (2) The public awareness campaign required by Subsection (1) shall include:
    (a) information about abstinence before and fidelity after marriage being the surest prevention of sexually transmitted diseases including the human papillomavirus; and
    (b) a complete list of side effects and risks discovered during drug trials of any vaccine developed for the prevention of cervical cancer or human pappillomavirus.
