(a)
in order to carry

out necessary parental responsibilities;
or
(b) as an employee, in order to carry out any duty or responsibility that is within the scope of the sex
offender's employment, if:
(i) the protected area is not the usual base of operations for the sex offender's employment; and
(i) the duty or responsibility to be conducted at the protected area is temporary and is a to be conducted
within a limited period of time
.
