Bracket "None" and insert:
"This bill coordinates with HB263 by providing substantive and
technical amendments."
2. Page
12, Line 362
:
After line 362 insert:
" Section 11. Coordinating H.B. 438 with H.B. 263 --
Substantive and technical amendments.
If this H.B. 438 and H.B. 263, Jail Expenses Amendments, both
pass, it is the intent of the Legislature that the Office of Legislative
Research and General Counsel shall prepare the Utah Code
database for publication by amending Subsection 76-3-201(6)(b)(i)
to read as follows:
"(b)(i) The costs of incarceration under Subsection (6)(a) are[: (A)]
the daily [core] inmate incarceration costs and medical and
transportation costs [established under Section 64-13c-302; and]
for the county correctional facility.
[(B) the costs of transportation services and medical care that
exceed the negotiated reimbursement rate established under
Subsection 64-13c-302(2).]""
