(4)The mayor of a city or town whose governing body has established a manager form of
government and apppointed a person to act as city or town manager under this section may terminate
the employment of the manager.

Section 6. Effective date.
If approved by two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, Subsection 10-3-830(4) takes
effect upon approval by the governor, or the day following the constitutional time limit of Utah
Constitution Article VII, Section 8, without the governor's signature, or in the case of a veto, the date of
veto override.
