BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Legislature and Governor urge that the

legislation include increased

verification requirements by companies
, accompanied by
the tools and resources necessary to adequately verify whether or not a Social Security number is
fraudulent,
and increased penalties

for individuals who intentionally use fraudulent Social Security numbers to obtain
43
employment, avoid child support obligations, or for other personal gain.
