8 LONG TITLE
9 General Description:
10 This bill provides legislative action regarding administrative rules.
11 Highlighted Provisions:
12 This bill:
13 . reauthorizes all state agency administrative rules, except:
14 . a rule regarding secure areas at the State Hospital; and
15 . a rule regarding the issuing of concealed firearm permits.
16 Monies Appropriated in this Bill:
17 None
18 Other Special Clauses:
19 This bill takes effect on May 1, 2008.

21 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
22 Section 1. Rules reauthorized.
23 All rules of Utah state agencies are reauthorized, except for the following:
24 1. R525-6-1, Human Services, Substance Abuse and Mental Health, State Hospital,
25 Prohibited Items and Devices; and
26 2. R722-300, Public Safety, Criminal Investigations and Technical Services Criminal
27 Identification, Concealed Firearm Permit Rule.
28 Section 2. Effective date.
29 If approved by two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, this bill takes effect

30 on May 1, 2008.
