10 The Administrative Rules Review Committee recommended this bill.
11 General Description:
12 This bill provides legislative action regarding administrative rules.
13 Highlighted Provisions:
14 This bill:
15 . reauthorizes all state agency administrative rules, except:
16 . a rule regarding secure areas at the State Hospital; and
17 . a rule regarding the issuing of concealed firearm permits.
18 Monies Appropriated in this Bill:
19 None
20 Other Special Clauses:
21 This bill takes effect on May 1, 2008.

23 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
24 Section 1. Rules reauthorized.
25 All rules of Utah state agencies are reauthorized, except for the following:
26 1. R525-6-1, Human Services, Substance Abuse and Mental Health, State Hospital,
27 Prohibited Items and Devices; and

28 2. R722-300, Public Safety, Criminal Investigations and Technical Services Criminal
29 Identification, Concealed Firearm Permit Rule.
30 Section 2. Effective date.
31 If approved by two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, this bill takes effect
32 on May 1, 2008.
