8 LONG TITLE
9 General Description:
10 This bill modifies Title 64, Chapter 13, Department of Corrections-State Prison,
11 regarding hearings.
12 Highlighted Provisions:
13 This bill:
14 . repeals the requirement that the Department of Corrections maintain an
15 administrative hearing office to conduct hearings related to:
16 . offenders in the custody of the department; and
17 . administrative matters and issues involving staff; and
18 . repeals the powers and duties of the hearing officer.

27 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:

28 Section 1. Repealer.
29 This bill repeals:
30 Section 64-13-28, Hearings involving staff or offenders.
