Rep. Oda called the meeting to order at 8:40 a.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Bowman moved to approve the minutes of February 4, 2008. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Morley, Rep. Wiley, and Rep. Wimmer absent for the vote.

H.B. 154    Motorboat Education Requirements (Rep. J. Dunnigan)

MOTION:    Rep. Sumsion moved to replace H. B. 154 with 1st Substitute H. B. 154. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Morley, Rep. Wiley, and Rep. Wimmer absent for the vote.

Rep. Dunnigan explained the bill.

MOTION:    Rep Sumsion moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed with Rep. Morley voting in opposition. Rep. Wimmer was absent for the vote.



H.B. 267    Controlled Substances Amendments - Suda Controls
(Rep. N. Hansen)

Testimony was heard from Ms. Mandy Hagen, Director, State Government Relations, Consumer Healthcare Products Association. She spoke in opposition to the bill.

Rep. Hansen presented the bill.

MOTION:    Rep. Ray moved to table the bill. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Litvack and Rep. Lockhart absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Morley moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Litvack and Rep. Lockhart absent for the vote. Rep. Oda adjourned the meeting at 9:25 a.m.
