Rep. Froerer opened the meeting at 7:50 a.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Chavez-Houck moved to approve the minutes of February 26, 2008. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Dunnigan, Rep. Seelig, Rep. Shurtliff and Rep. Urquhart absent for the vote.

H.B. 453    Assessment Area Amendments (Rep. F. Hunsaker)

Rep. Hunsaker introduced and explained the bill to the Committee, with the help of Blaine Carlton, Bond Attorney, Ballard Sparh Andrews & Engersoll.

Spoke to the bill: LeGrande Bitter, Utah Association of Special Districts

MOTION:    Rep. Seelig moved to recommend H.B. 453 favorably. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Shurtliff and Rep. Urquhart absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Allen moved to adjourn the meeting. Rep. Froerer called the meeting to a close at 8:05 a.m.
