Senator Darin Peterson proposes the following amendments:

1.    Page 1, Line 17 :    

             17      by removing "age verification mechanism" as a form of restriction;
    .
      amends the definition of "service provider" to include only Internet service providers;

    .     allows a provider to comply with the requirement to provide filtering for users by referring users to a third party that provides filtering software;  
and
