Senator Curtis S. Bramble proposes the following amendments:

1.    Page 1, Lines 16 through 17 :    

             16          .    requires that PEHP determine benefits and rates based on the total estimated costs
             17      and employee premium shares established by the Legislature
{   .   }        ; and

     .     provides that the Legislature may direct PEHP to provide specific benefits.  


2.    Page 2, Lines 53 through 55 :    

             53          (l)
  (i) subject to Subsection (1)(l)(ii),       determine benefits and rates based on the total estimated costs and employee

             54      premium share established by the Legislature, upon approval of the board [and the Legislature],
             55      for state employees;
 

    (ii) provide specific benefits as may be directed by the Legislature;
