8 General Description:
9 This bill amends the Public Service Commission's powers to authorize a natural gas
10 vehicle rate that is less than full cost of service.

23 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
24 Section 1. Section 54-4-13.1 is enacted to read:
25 54-4-13.1. Natural gas vehicle rate.
26 (1) The commission may find that a gas corporation's request for a natural gas vehicle
27 rate that is less than full cost of service is:
28 (a) in the public interest; and
29 (b) just and reasonable.

30 (2) If the commission approves a gas corporation's request under Subsection (1), the
31 remaining costs may be spread to other customers of the gas corporation.
