11 General Description:
12 This bill modifies the Designation of State Highways Act by amending the definition of
13 a state highway and adding two highways to the state highway system.
14 Highlighted Provisions:
15 This bill:
16 . creates Legacy Parkway as SR-67;
17 . modifies the definition of SR-89 and SR-105;
18 . creates SR-175; and
19 . makes technical changes.

31 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
32 Section 1. Section 72-4-112 is amended to read:
33 72-4-112. State highways -- SR-61 to SR-68 and SR-70.
34 State highways include:
35 (1) SR-61. From Route 23 in Cornish easterly to Route 91 at Webster Junction.
36 (2) SR-62. From Route 89 south of Junction easterly through Kingston to near Otter
37 Creek Reservoir; then northerly to Route 24 at Plateau Junction.
38 (3) SR-63. From Bryce National Park north boundary northerly to Tropic Junction on
39 Route 12.
40 (4) SR-64. From Route 15 south of Holden northerly to Route 50.
41 (5) SR-65. From Route 80 near Mt. Dell Reservoir northeasterly on the Brigham
42 Young Memorial Highway to Henefer; then northeasterly to Route 84.
43 (6) SR-66. From Route 65 near East Canyon Reservoir northerly through Porterville to
44 Route 84 in Morgan.
45 (7) SR-67. From the junction of I-215 in Davis County northerly on Legacy Parkway
46 to the junction with US-89 and I-15.
47 [(7)] (8) SR-68. From Route 6 at Elberta northerly on Redwood Road and Fifth South
48 Street in Bountiful; then southerly on 2nd West in Bountiful to Route 89 in Bountiful.
49 [(8)] (9) SR-70. From Route 15 near Cove Fort to the Utah-Colorado state line west of
50 Grand Junction, Colorado, on interstate Route 70.
51 Section 2. Section 72-4-114 is amended to read:
52 72-4-114. State highways -- SR-81 to SR-84, SR-86 to SR-90.
53 State highways include:
54 (1) SR-81. From Route 30 north to Fielding.
55 (2) SR-82. From Route 102 north on 300 East Street in Tremonton to Garland; then
56 east approximately 0.8 mile; then north to Route 13.
57 (3) SR-83. From Route 13 in Corinne westerly to Lampo Junction; then northerly to
58 Route 84 at Howell Interchange.

59 (4) SR-84. From the Utah-Idaho state line near Snowville to a point on Route 15 at the
60 Tremonton Interchange; then from another point on Route 15 near Roy to Route 80 near Echo,
61 traversing the alignment of interstate Route 84.
62 (5) SR-86. From Route 65 at Henefer westerly to Route 84.
63 (6) SR-87. From Route 40 in Duchesne northerly; then easterly through Altamont;
64 thence southeasterly through Upalco; then east to Route 40 southwest of Roosevelt.
65 (7) SR-88. From the south end of the Green River Bridge south of Ouray northerly to
66 Route 40 east of Ft. Duchesne.
67 (8) SR-89. From the Utah-Arizona state line northwest of Page, Arizona, westerly to
68 Kanab; then northerly to a junction with Route 70 near Sevier Junction; then beginning again at
69 the junction with Route 70 south of Salina, northerly through Salina, Gunnison and Mt.
70 Pleasant to a junction with Route 6 at Thistle Junction; beginning again at junction with Route
71 6 at Moark Junction northerly through Springville, Provo, Orem, and American Fork to Route
72 15 north of Lehi; then beginning again at a junction with Route 71 in Draper northerly through
73 Sandy, Midvale, Murray, [and] Salt Lake City [to Route 186; then west on Fourth South to
74 Third West; then north on Third West and Beck Street], and Bountiful to a junction with Route
75 15 at the [North Salt Lake Interchange] 500 west interchange; then beginning again at a
76 junction with Route 15 at Lagoon northerly through Uintah Junction and Ogden to Route 91
77 near south city limits of Brigham City; then beginning again at a junction with Route 91 in
78 Logan northeasterly to Route 30 in Garden City; then northerly to the Utah-Idaho state line.
79 (9) SR-89A. From the Utah-Arizona state line south of Kanab northerly to Route 89 in
80 Kanab.
81 (10) SR-90. From Route 13 in Brigham easterly on 2nd South Street to Route 91.
82 Section 3. Section 72-4-116 is amended to read:
83 72-4-116. State highways -- SR-101 to SR-110.
84 State highways include:
85 (1) SR-101. From Wellsville on Route 23 easterly through Hyrum to the Hardware
86 Ranch with a stub connection to the visitors' center and parking area.
87 (2) SR-102. From Route 83 east of Lampo Junction northeasterly through Penrose to
88 Thatcher; then easterly through Tremonton and Deweyville to Route 38.
89 (3) SR-103. From Route 126 in Clearfield easterly on 650 North Street in Clearfield to

90 Hill Air Force Base main gate.
91 (4) SR-104. From Route 126 easterly on Wilson Lane, Twentieth Street, and
92 Twenty-first Street in Ogden to Route 204.
93 (5) SR-105. From Route [15] 67 east on Parrish Lane in Centerville to Route 106.
94 (6) SR-106. From .21 miles west of Route 15 east on 400 North Street in Bountiful;
95 then northerly to Sheppard Lane in Farmington; then west on Sheppard Lane to Route 89.
96 (7) SR-107. From Route 110 west of West Point easterly through West Point to Route
97 126 in Clearfield.
98 (8) SR-108. From the I-15 north bound on- and off-ramps at the Hill Field South Gate
99 Interchange in Layton west to Syracuse; then north into Weber County; then northeasterly to
100 Route 126.
101 (9) SR-109. From Route 126 easterly through Layton to Route 89.
102 (10) SR-110. From Route 127 west of Syracuse north to Route 37 west of Clinton.
103 Section 4. Section 72-4-123 is amended to read:

110 (3) SR-173. From Route 111 southeast of Magna easterly through Kearns and Murray
111 to Route 89 at 5300 South Street in Murray.
112 (4) SR-174. From Intermountain Power Plant maingate southeasterly to Route 6 south
