7 LONG TITLE
8 General Description:
9 This bill repeals a sunset provision relating to townships.
10 Highlighted Provisions:
11 This bill:
12 . repeals a provision that repeals in 2010 a provision prohibiting the legislative body
13 of a municipality in a county of the first class from approving an annexation petition
14 involving an area located in a township unless the annexation petition includes the
15 entire area of the township or the annexation has been approved by township voters
16 or property owners.

26 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
27 Section 1. Section 63I-2-210 is amended to read:

28 63I-2-210. Repeal dates -- Title 10.
29 [(1) Section 10-2-427 is repealed July 1, 2010.]
30 [(2)] Subsection 10-9a-305 (2) is repealed July 1, 2013.
