LONG TITLE

General Description:

This bill supplements or reduces appropriations previously provided for the use and

operation of state government for the fiscal years beginning July 1, 2008 and ending June 30, 2009

and beginning July 1, 2009 and ending June 30, 2010.

Highlighted Provisions:

This bill:

. provides budget increases and decreases for the use and support of certain state agencies;

. provides budget increases and decreases for the use and support of certain institutions of

higher education;

. provides funds for the bills with fiscal impact passed in the 2009 General Session;

. provides budget increases and decreases for other purposes as described;

. approves capital acquisition amounts for internal service funds;

. authorizes rates and fees;

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:

Section 1. Under the terms and conditions of Title 63J, the following sums of money are

appropriated from resources not otherwise appropriated, or reduced from amounts previously
42
appropriated, out of the funds or fund accounts indicated for the use and support of the government
43
of the State of Utah for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2008 and ending June 30, 2009. These are
44
additions to amounts previously appropriated for fiscal year 2009.
