Representative Wayne A. Harper proposes the following amendments:

    Senate 3rd Reading Amendments
    2-24-2009 :    

             46          (7) Notwithstanding the requirements of Section 73-3-2 , a person may:
             47          (a) directly capture and store precipitation in
  :

    (i)  
S. [a] an underground .S storage

             47a      container S. :
             47b          
{   (i)   }        (A)       .S with a maximum

             48      capacity of 2,500 gallons; and
             48a      S.     
{   (ii)   }        (B)       installed in accordance with relevant building codes adopted under Chapter 56,

             48b      Title 58, Uniform Building Standards Act;
{   and   } .S        or

    (ii) storage containers with a maximum capacity of 55 gallons per container; and  

             49          (b) place the water captured and stored under Subsection (7)(a) to beneficial use.
