A school may not:

(i)
establish or maintain structures, procedures, or policies that favor or give

preferential treatment to one parent group over another parent group; or

(b)
}
(ii)
endorse, support, sanction, or give approval to one parent group over another parent

group.
(b) Subsection (5)(a) does not apply to a school employee who joins or participates with a parent
group, provided that the employee, while acting in the employee's official capacity, does not favor or
give preferential treatment to one parent group over another parent group as prohibited under
Subsection (5)(a).
