Rep. Oda called the meeting to order at 8:05 a.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Ray moved to approve the minutes of the February 23, 2010 meeting. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Ferry and Rep. Litvack absent for the vote.

H.B. 337    Uniform Driver License Act Amendments (Rep. R. Lockhart)

Rep. Lockhart presented the bill to the committee with the assistance of Mr. Richard Nance, Utah County Division of Substance Abuse.

MOTION:    Rep. Beck moved to pass the bill out with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Litvack, Rep. Ray, and Rep. Wimmer absent for the vote.

H.C.R. 15    Resolution to the Secretary of Transportation on Revocation of Driver Licenses (Rep. R. Lockhart)

MOTION:    Rep. Wimmer moved to adopt 1st substitute H.B. 296. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Litvack, Rep. Lockhart and Rep. Ray absent for the vote.
