OPTING OUT OF THE REAL ID ACT

Senator Margaret Dayton proposes the following amendments:
1. Page 1, Lines 14 through 21 :
14 . prohibits the state from participating in the implementation of

15 . } the REAL ID Act of 2005;

or
16 . any national identification card system that may be enacted by the United States
17 Congress; }
18 . prohibits the Driver License Division from implementing the provisions of

19 . } the REAL ID Act of 2005;

or

21 Congress; }
2. Page 1, Line 23 through Page 2, Line 26 :
23 implement the provisions of
