Representative Carl Wimmer proposes the following amendments:

1.    Page 1, Lines 19 through 23 :    

             19      Other Special Clauses:
             20          This bill takes effect on July 1, 2011.
    
  This bill coordinates with S.B 288, Utah Immigration Enforcement Amendments, to provide for superseding substantive amendments.      

             21      Utah Code Sections Affected:
             22      AMENDS:
             23          53B-8-106, as enacted by Laws of Utah 2002, Chapter 230
  Utah Code Sections Affected by Coordination Clause:

    53B-8-106, as enacted by Laws of Utah 2002, Chapter 230  


2.    Page 2, Lines 45 through 46 :    

             45          Section 2. Effective date.
             46          This bill takes effect on July 1, 2011.
    
  Section 3. Coordinates H.B. 191 with S.B. 288 -- Superseding substantive amendments.

    If this H.B. 191 and S.B. 288, Utah Immigration Enforcement Amendments, both pass, it is the intent of the Legislature that:
    (1) Section 53B-8-106 in this bill supersedes Section 53B-8-106 in S.B. 288 when the Office of Legislative Research and General Counsel prepares the Utah Code database for publication; and
    (2) the coordination clause in this H.B. 191 supersedes the coordination clause in S.B. 288 that coordinates H.B. 191 and S.B. 288.
