             8      LONG TITLE
             9      General Description:
             10          This bill provides that the provisions of Title 63A, Chapter 2, Part 4, Surplus Property
             11      Service, does not apply to disposal by the legislative branch of surplus property that is
             12      information technology equipment or a personal handheld device, if the Legislative
             13      Management Committee, by rule, establishes its own policy for the disposal, by the
             14      legislative branch, of this type of surplus property.
             15      Highlighted Provisions:
             16          This bill:
             17          .    provides that the provisions of Title 63A, Chapter 2, Part 4, Surplus Property
             18      Service, does not apply to disposal by the legislative branch of surplus property that
             19      is information technology equipment or a personal handheld device, if the
             20      Legislative Management Committee, by rule, establishes its own policy for the
             21      disposal, by the legislative branch, of this type of surplus property.

             30      Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
             31          Section 1. Section 63A-2-409 is enacted to read:
             32          63A-2-409. Disposal of certain surplus property by the legislative branch.
             33          This part does not apply to disposal by the legislative branch of surplus property that is
             34      information technology equipment or a personal handheld device, if the Legislative
             35      Management Committee, by rule, establishes its own policy for disposal, by the legislative
             36      branch, of surplus property that is information technology equipment or a personal handheld
             37      device.
