Vice Chair Pitcher called the meeting to order at 2:02 p.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Dunnigan moved to approve the minutes of the February 15, 2012 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Brown, Rep. Kiser, Rep. Last, and Rep. Wiley absent for the vote.

H.B. 399    Physician and Osteopathic Licensing Amendments (Rep. S. Sandstrom)

MOTION:    
Rep. Webb moved to amend H.B. 399 as follows:

1.    Page 5, Lines 133 through 134 :    

             133          (5) The division may not require a
  medical       specialty        certification       or      {   board   }        subspecialty       certification as a qualification for        initial      

             134      licensure
  or to maintain licensure       .


2.    Page 8, Lines 243 through 244 :

The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Kiser, Rep. Last, and Rep. Wiley absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Last moved to transmit H. B. 399 with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION:    Rep. Morley moved to place H.B. 399 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously.

H.B. 325    Motor Fuel Marketing Act Reauthorization (Rep. D. Ipson)

Rep. Ipson explained the bill to the committee assisted by Rep. Steve Eliason and John Hill, Utah Petroleum Marketers and Retailers Association.

H.B. 164    Trust Deed Foreclosure Changes (Rep. L. Christensen)

MOTION:    
Rep. Bird moved to replace H.B. 164 with 1st Substitute H.B. 164. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Ipson absent for the vote.

Rep. Christensen explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Duckworth moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Ipson and Rep. Last absent for the vote.

Vice Chair Pitcher adjourned the meeting at 4:30 p.m.
