Chair Knudson called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.

S.B. 145    State Building Board Amendments (Sen. J. S. Adams)

Sen. Adams presented and explained this bill.

MOTION:    Sen. Dayton moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed, with Sen. Jenkins and Sen. Thatcher absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Sen. Dayton moved to place the bill on the consent calendar. The motion passed, with Sen. Jenkins and Sen. Thatcher absent for the vote.

S.J.R. 11    Joint Rules Resolution - Informal Poll on United States Senate Candidates (Sen. C. Anderson)

Sen. Anderson presented and explained this bill.

MOTION:    Sen. Anderson moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion failed, with Sen. Anderson, Sen. Dayton and Sen. Jenkins voting in favor of the motion and Sen. Knudson, Sen. Robles, and Sen. Thatcher voting in opposition.

S.B. 147    Emergency Vehicle Amendments (Sen. D. Thatcher)

Sen. Thatcher presented and explained this bill.

Spoke for the bill:    Captain Bruce Blair, Utah Highway Patrol


MOTION:    Sen. Thatcher moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION:    Sen. Dayton moved to place the bill on the consent calendar. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION:    Sen. Dayton moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously. Sen. Knudson adjourned the meeting at 4:20 p.m..
