Chair Reid called the meeting to order at 4:15 p.m.
        
Approval of Minutes    

MOTION: Sen. Osmond moved to adopt the minutes of the February 27, 2012 meeting. The              motion passed unanimously with Sen. Stevenson absent for the vote.

S.B. 282    Credit for Veteran Training (Sen. T. Weiler)

Sen. Weiler introduced and explained the bill.

MOTION: Sen. Jones moved to send S.B. 282 out of committee with a favorable              recommendation. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Stevenson absent for              the vote.

MOTION: Sen. Morgan moved to place S.B. 282 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed              unanimously with Sen. Stevenson absent for the vote.

1st Sub. H B. 80 Reorganization of Administrative Support Functions in State Agencies              (W. Harper)

MOTION: Sen. Okerlund moved to adopt the following amendments:

Rep. Harper introduced and explained the bill and answered questions from the committee.

     The motion passed with Sen. Morgan and Sen. Jones voting in opposition.

M OTION:
    Sen. Osmond moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously.     Chair Reid adjourned the meeting at 5:38 p.m.
