Senator Howard A. Stephenson proposes the following amendments:
1. Page 1, Lines 20 through 22 :
20 .

authorizes a local health department to create requirements for obtaining a permit to
21 operate a tanning facility in excess of the minimum requirements specified by the
22 Utah Department of Health }
requires a statewide standard for the operating requirements for a
tanning facility
;
2. Page 5, Lines 120 through 121 :
120 (b)
{
A local health department may create permit requirements in addition to those
121 required under Subsection (5)(a)(i) }
The rules adopted by the department under Subsection (5)(a)
shall be applied uniformly across the state and local health departments.
