8 General Description:
9 This bill amends the Medical Assistance Act of the Health Code.

12 . requires the Department of Health to issue a request for proposal to provide vision
13 services to all Medicaid populations within appropriations from the Legislature.

22 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
23 Section 1. Section 26-28-17 is enacted to read:
24 26-28-17. Medicaid vision services -- Request for proposals.
25 The department may select a contractor in accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 6, Utah
26 Procurement Code, to provide vision services to all Medicaid populations within existing
27 appropriations from the Legislature.
