             7      LONG TITLE
             8      General Description:
             9          This bill modifies the Designation of State Highways Act.
             10      Highlighted Provisions:
             11          This bill:
             12          .    establishes the Leavitt Parkway; and
             13          .    provides that in addition to other official designations, the Department of
             14      Transportation shall designate the portion of Leavitt Parkway on future state
             15      highway maps.
             16      Money Appropriated in this Bill:

             22          72-4-112, as last amended by Laws of Utah 2009, Chapter 118
             23      ENACTS:
             24          72-4-214, Utah Code Annotated 1953

             26      Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
             27          Section 1. Section 72-4-112 is amended to read:


             28           72-4-112. State highways -- SR-61 to SR-68 and SR-70.
             29          State highways include:
             30          (1) SR-61. From Route 23 in Cornish easterly to Route 91 at Webster Junction.
             31          (2) SR-62. From Route 89 south of Junction easterly through Kingston to near Otter
             32      Creek Reservoir; then northerly to Route 24 at Plateau Junction.
             33          (3) SR-63. From Bryce National Park north boundary northerly to Tropic Junction on
             34      Route 12.
             35          (4) SR-64. From Route 15 south of Holden northerly to Route 50.
             36          (5) SR-65. From Route 80 near Mt. Dell Reservoir northeasterly on the Brigham
             37      Young Memorial Highway to Henefer; then northeasterly to Route 84.
             38          (6) SR-66. From Route 65 near East Canyon Reservoir northerly through Porterville to
             39      Route 84 in Morgan.
             40          (7) SR-67. From the junction of I-215 in Davis County northerly on [Legacy] Leavitt
             41      Parkway to the junction with US-89 and I-15.
             42          (8) SR-68. From Route 6 at Elberta northerly on Redwood Road and Fifth South
             43      Street in Bountiful; then southerly on 2nd West in Bountiful to Route 89 in Bountiful.
             44          (9) SR-70. From Route 15 near Cove Fort to the Utah-Colorado state line west of
             45      Grand Junction, Colorado, on interstate Route 70.
             46          Section 2. Section 72-4-214 is enacted to read:
             47          72-4-214. Leavitt Parkway.
             48          (1) There is established the Leavitt Parkway comprising of:
             49          (a) a section of Route 85 from the junction with Porter Rockwell Boulevard to the
             50      junction with Route 173; and
             51          (b) the existing Route 67 from the junction with I-215 in Davis County to the junction
             52      with US-89 and I-15.
             53          (2) In addition to other official designations, the Department of Transportation shall
             54      designate the portions of the highways identified in Subsection (1) as the Leavitt Parkway on
             55      future state highway maps.
