             7      LONG TITLE
             8      General Description:
             9          This bill modifies the Designation of State Highways Act.
             10      Highlighted Provisions:
             11          This bill:
             12          .    establishes the Leavitt Legacy Parkway and Leavitt Mountain View Parkway; and
             13          .    provides that in addition to other official designations, the Department of
             14      Transportation shall designate the portions of Leavitt Legacy Parkway and Leavitt
             15      Mountain View Parkway on future state highway maps.

             27      Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
             28          Section 1. Section 72-4-112 is amended to read:
             29           72-4-112. State highways -- SR-61 to SR-68 and SR-70.
             30          State highways include:
             31          (1) SR-61. From Route 23 in Cornish easterly to Route 91 at Webster Junction.
             32          (2) SR-62. From Route 89 south of Junction easterly through Kingston to near Otter
             33      Creek Reservoir; then northerly to Route 24 at Plateau Junction.
             34          (3) SR-63. From Bryce National Park north boundary northerly to Tropic Junction on
             35      Route 12.
             36          (4) SR-64. From Route 15 south of Holden northerly to Route 50.
             37          (5) SR-65. From Route 80 near Mt. Dell Reservoir northeasterly on the Brigham
             38      Young Memorial Highway to Henefer; then northeasterly to Route 84.
             39          (6) SR-66. From Route 65 near East Canyon Reservoir northerly through Porterville to
             40      Route 84 in Morgan.
             41          (7) SR-67. From the junction of I-215 in Davis County northerly on [Legacy] Leavitt
             42      Legacy Parkway to the junction with US-89 and I-15.
             43          (8) SR-68. From Route 6 at Elberta northerly on Redwood Road and Fifth South
             44      Street in Bountiful; then southerly on 2nd West in Bountiful to Route 89 in Bountiful.
             45          (9) SR-70. From Route 15 near Cove Fort to the Utah-Colorado state line west of
             46      Grand Junction, Colorado, on interstate Route 70.
             47          Section 2. Section 72-4-214 is enacted to read:
             48          72-4-214. Leavitt Legacy Parkway.
             49          (1) There is established the Leavitt Legacy Parkway comprising of the existing Route
             50      67 from the junction with I-215 in Davis County to the junction with US-89 and I-15.
             51          (2) In addition to other official designations, the Department of Transportation shall
             52      designate the portions of the highway identified in Subsection (1) as the Leavitt Legacy
             53      Parkway on future state highway maps.
             54          Section 3. Section 72-4-215 is enacted to read:
             55          72-4-215. Leavitt Mountain View Parkway.
             56          (1) There is established the Leavitt Mountain View Parkway comprising of a section of


             57      Route 85 from the junction with Porter Rockwell Boulevard to the junction with Route 173.
             58          (2) In addition to other official designations, the Department of Transportation shall
             59      designate the portions of the highway identified in Subsection (1) as the Leavitt Mountain
             60      View Parkway on future state highway maps.
